Review of the 2nd RCEP Regional (Shandong) Import Commodities Expo

This exhibition focuses on countries in the RCEP region, highlighting regional diversity and effectiveness. It showcases economic, trade and cultural exchanges between countries, cities, and business associations in the RCEP region and Shandong Province, showcasing well-known brands and high-quality products in the RCEP region. The exhibition covers a total area of 35300 square meters, with a total of 43000 visitors, including 21000 professional buyers; The on-site transaction volume is 230 million yuan, and the intended transaction volume is 750 million yuan.




There are 512 participating enterprises in this RCEP Expo, and three exhibition halls have been established: RCEP International Hall, RCEP Brand Hall, and RCEP High Quality Commodity Hall; Five countries in the RCEP region, including Cambodia, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, and Australia, have set up national pavilions, and six overseas city pavilions have been set up in Junpu, Incheon, Gunsan, North Chungcheong Province, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan, and Osaka Prefecture, Japan. At the same time, 12 business associations, including Greenfield Trade Port, South Korea Chamber of Commerce for Small and Medium Enterprises, Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce for Imported Food, Tianjin Chamber of Commerce for Imported Food, Weihai Chamber of Commerce for Imported Food, and well-known international brand enterprises, such as South Korea Fuku, Thailand Zhifulian, Philippines Okoco, South Korea Bollele, Australia Kolani, Norway Ocara, Bulgaria Rose, participated in the exhibition. The exhibited products are more diverse and colorful, and on the basis of consumer goods such as food, alcohol, and beauty, we will further expand the variety of leisure and entertainment, electronic products, cars, and other products.

To adapt to the new development situation and deepen the interactive integration of live streaming e-commerce and exhibition activities. This year's RCEP Expo has set up four Kwai live broadcast rooms and public live broadcast rooms. During the exhibition, live broadcast activities were continuously carried out. At the same time, an online celebrity selection meeting was held, which strictly selected more than 1000 products from 120 exhibitors, established a product catalog, and put Kwai "Good Things Alliance" on the shelves for the main broadcast screening of goods. During the exhibition, more than 50 local live streaming bases, MCN institutions, and other live streaming e-commerce institutions were organized to conduct on-site product selection. More than 20 well-known anchors such as Li Haizhen were invited to participate in the live promotion, and 50 internet celebrity image ambassadors and publicity ambassadors such as Super Dan were selected for the second RCEP Expo. The live broadcast of the exhibition attracted over 20 million viewers and achieved an e-commerce live broadcast transaction volume of over 50 million yuan. During the same period, the city achieved a live streaming e-commerce transaction volume of nearly 300 million yuan.

This expo has planned and held a series of activities such as RCEP Small and Medium sized Enterprise Forum, International Cooperation and Exchange Conference, Investment Promotion Conference for Land Products Park, and Linyi Import Commodity City Consumer Shopping Festival, making the entire expo more substantial and effective. The RCEP Small and Medium sized Enterprise Forum invited 6 guests to explain in detail the relevant policies of RCEP, introduce the opportunities brought to small and medium-sized enterprises by the effective implementation of the RCEP agreement, and assist them in exploring the market. Investment promotion conference for the local product park, focusing on signing 14 investment projects for the local product manufacturing industry; International Cooperation Exchange Conference and Shandong Province Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Matchmaking Conference, Linyi City and Ho Chi Minh City signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation, and the Linyi Mall overseas shared exhibition hall project in Myanmar, Cambodia, Indonesia and Thailand was signed.

The exhibition serves as a medium and gathers people from all directions. As the host city of this year's Expo, Linyi has polished its business cards such as "Famous City in the Chinese Market", "Logistics Capital of China", "Exhibition City of China", "One of the First Batch of Commercial Service Logistics Hubs in China", and "National Important Commodity Distribution Center", fully leveraging its unique advantages in market procurement, exhibition economy, live streaming e-commerce, and other fields, and is committed to improving the first choice of "Linyi Mall and China Grand Collection", Expand new channels for "expanding openness and internal and external circulation", create an ecological chain of "industrial agglomeration and complete supporting facilities", and provide Linyi opportunities for customers to "expand the market", "solidify the chain", and "enjoy services".

At present, Shandong and the local governments of RCEP countries have established 231 pairs of sister cities and friendly cooperation relationships. ASEAN has become Shandong's largest trading partner, and a new pattern of all-round and multi field exchanges has gradually taken shape. The exhibition shows the world a more open, inclusive and confident new Shandong, which is of great significance to further optimize the foreign trade layout of Linyi and even the whole province, consolidate Shandong's position in the RCEP regional industrial chain and supply chain, and deeply integrate into the "double cycle" Dual circulation.
